Concrete Countertops…
We decide to do concrete countertops this time in the kitchen of the REO house we just bought. We had done some concrete work before at our old house be we put in Cesarstone for the countertops over there that look like concrete. I was pregnant at the time and just did not want to deal with doing a concrete countertop back then.We decided it was time to satisfy our desire to do some concrete countertops this time because it was going to save us a lot of money and we would be able to control the design and look of it.We started in the master bath and poured the countertop there one weekend. It was our test to see if we could do it and what we would need to do before we got to the kitchen and really poured a big job.We learned a lot in the little countertop for the master bath. Most importantly we learned it was do able and that we liked the look of it. It came out a lot better then we had thought although a professional probably could have done better. In the end it helped us decide we could do it for the kitchen countertops.
